The library is fully computerized and is the hub of the academic activities supporting the institutions mission of achieving excellence in education. The library is automated with SOUL 2.0 software from INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat and modernized with Bar-coding based automation system. The library with its open access system and spacious reading area provides an atmosphere conductive to the excitement of mental discovery. The library also provides access to e-resources to the teachers and students of the college through N-LIST programme of UGC- INFLIBNET Centre.
The library has also a UN/UNESCO reading Library corner. For smooth functioning of Library and its activities, college constitutes a Library Management Committee. The college library at present has about 35,408 books, 21 print journals, 11 Magazines, 8 Newspapers (Daily 7 & Weekly 1), 220 Back Volumes. Besides providing Issue-Return facility, the library also provides Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) to the users. Moreover, the college library provides reprographic facilities for students, researchers and faculty members. A user can get the Xerox of desired documents on payment of a nominal fee. Users can also avail free internet service with Wi-Fi facility in the library. The library provides Book Bank facilities to the needy and economically weak students of the college. The library also has a rich reference section consisting of department wise reference books.
In addition, all the departments of the college have their own libraries with a good stock of text books and reference books in the respective subjects. Students can also borrow books from departmental libraries. The departments follow their own rules in providing books to the students.
